Our goal is much bigger than keeping kids occupied during service. We want to disciple the next generation—helping every child know God, discover who He made them to be, and live boldly for Jesus.

Our youngest children are cared for in a loving, nurturing space where simple Bible stories, songs, and play, introduce them to God’s love and character.

DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Shanell Booker-Bennett
Shanell has a genuine love for children and a heart for helping them know just how deeply loved by God they are. Her passion for children’s ministry grew through eight years of faithfully serving with Impact Girls Ministry, along with many years teaching Sunday School and participating in Vacation Bible School programs.
Her desire is for every child and family to feel welcomed, loved, and at home in a safe, joyful, Christ-centered environment where children can have fun, build friendships, learn God’s Word, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR
Jaime Marie Yard
Jaime is dedicated to cultivating a safe, structured, Spirit-filled environment for children and families. With a background in psychology and education, she’s passionate about creating an engaging learning experience and equipping people of all ages to walk in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.
Jaime homeschools her daughter with a comprehensive faith-based curriculum and studies God’s Word each week. She’s deeply grateful for the opportunity to support parents as they raise children who know God, grow in faith, and discover who they are in Christ.

When does CRWC Kidz meet?
CRWC Kidz meets every Sunday at 10:00 AM (drop off is 9:45am) during the adult worship service.
What ages can attend?
Our age-appropriate environments welcome children from infants through sixth grade.
What happens on our first Sunday?
After learning God’s Word and discovering more about Jesus, our elementary children end Kidz Church with excitement! They then head to the big gym where they can play, laugh, and enjoy time together. We believe kids should experience God, grow in their faith, and enjoy every moment along the way. Parents can pick up their children in the gym once service ends.

Our safety practices include background checks for every volunteer, secure check-in and check-out, CPR-certified volunteers, and parent notifications whenever needed.
What should my child wear?
